PF's Tatiana is a lovely 2021 Bay Holsteiner Premium Mare, making a splendid addition to our breeding program. PF’s Tatiana epitomizes exceptional talent, balance, jumping scope, a refined type with classic looks, elegance and correctness. From the moment we first laid eyes on her in Germany, bred by one of the top producing sport horse breeders in the country, Tatiana left an indelible impression. Her journey continued when she was purchased and imported by Ryan Pedigo Sport Horses in California, USA.

Since her arrival, Tatiana has matured into a fine and talented athlete, demonstrating her versatility by engaging in broodmare duties via embryo transfer. Her first string of foals is expected to arrive in late spring 2024. Tatiana will soon embark on her sport horse performance career, followed by her eagerly anticipated horse show debut. Contributing to Tatiana’s exceptional abilities is her world-class lineage, boasting Tobago Z as her sire, a descendant of the renowned Tangelo van de ZuuthoeveMillion Dollar as her dam's sire and Caretino as her dam's grandsire.

Tobago Z, Tobago Z needs no introduction, as he embodies the essence of excellence: "A stallion can only pass on what he has himself... and Tobago Z has it all." His impeccable pedigree boasts some of the top horses in the sport. Tobago Z's dam, Whoopie C, earned acclaim for her exceptional scope and athleticism, achieving success in international show jumping up to 1.60m classes under the skilled rider Yves Vanderhasselt. Tobago Z himself was recognized as the most successful horse of the 2018 GCL, securing victories in the World Cup of Madrid, the Grand Prix's of Lyon and Oslo, and frequent podium appearances in 5* Grand Prix events. "Notably, when genetics predict results and results confirm genetics, the full circle is complete with Tobago Z."

Tatiana's dam sire, Million Dollar, also requires no introduction. In 2015, the Holsteiner Verband gained much fame and recognition with the acquisition of this exceptional jumping stallion from Belgium, hailing from the dam line of Quirly Chin. Million Dollar's lineage, featuring Plot Blue, Vigo d'Arsouilles, and Cento, originates from the successful dam line meticulously bred by Joris von Brabander. Rapidly gaining popularity, Million Dollar's acquisition by the Holsteiner Verband had a significant and lasting influence in the equestrian community."An inspection of the stallion at his breeder's stable answered many questions ~ this stallion displayed the colorful markings of his sire Plot Blue and a very youthful appearance that was everything but heavy. His movement was highly interesting, with an outstanding regular and very good ground covering walk - trot - and a very efficient canter. Powerful and with excellent carriage behind. The free jumping proved more than convincing, very much to the purpose and very controlled, but at the same time very careful with good bascule. His bloodline is characterized by an accumulation of sport performance of rare quality and concentration."

Million Dollar's second dam, Daytona de Muze, was a successful 1.60m horse under Belgian rider Jody Bosteels. She has since been sold to the US. Third dam, Wallon de Muze, had great success under rider Michel Hecart in the 1.60m ring, and the same as her full sister Walnut de Muze under rider Harrie Smolders. His fourth dam, Quirly Chin by Chin Chin, was successfully shown by Eric Lamaze.  Million Dollar was purchased by the  Holsteiner Verband in the early spring of 2015 and licensed at Zangersheide in April 2015. He was 30 days tested at Schlieckau in December of 2015 and was graded 8.25 for rideability - 9.75 for jumping ability and was approved for Holsteiner breeding programme at the Elmshorn licensing in January 2016.

Tatiana's great grand damsire, the late Caretino, leaves a remarkable impression. Passing away at the age of 28, he stands as the final son of Caletto II to enter the Holstein Studbook. As a Caletto II - Metellus descendant, Caretino made a lasting impact with a remarkable 826 offspring. His exceptional qualities were apparent at the stallion performance test, where he earned a jumping index of 145 points. Caretino won numerous young jumper classes which showcased his outstanding jumping technique, participating in the Bundeschampionate under rider Thomas Schoning. Then Bo Kristoffersen took him over a year later to compete successfully at the Grand Prix and Nations Cup levels, accumulating 40 placings at S level. Caretino then returned to Holstein to be used for breeding, which was much applauded by mare owners. By 2007 Caretino had produced 650 offspring that were registered for competition with the German FN. At the time of his death Caretino's offspring had earned more than 3 million euros.
