Winona excelled very quickly in her training before she became a member of our broodmare band at Ryan Pedigo Hanoverians. Her wonderful qualities that she herself showcases are her willingness to work, outstanding big stride, powerful balanced movement, careful scopey correct jumping style and great athleticism. We are very excited to announce that her spectacular son State Senator PF is starting his show career in 2019 and we believe he is bound for stardom. Winona's two year old daughter, Social Butterfly PF, has become a member of our broodmare band ready to foal in 2020. Another young son, yearling Scottish Heir PF, also shows tremendous potential. Winona PF is expecting a foal with Black Tie PF in 2019.

Apiro is a son of the legendary Stallion Argentinus, who led the FN statistics of his age group for prize money earned by his progeny in both dressage and show jumping for an amazing seven years. A successful advanced level show jumper himself, Argentinus sired 28 Approved sons, 48 State Premium mares and became Germany's youngest 'Millionaire Stallion', based on money earned by his progeny. Apiro is renowned for passing on his willing temperament to his offspring.
His grandsire, Argentan, produced 19 Approved sons and 119 State Premium mares and was highly regarded as a top broodmare sire. Apiro received the type and unmistakable face of his great grandsire, Absatz, passed down from Abglanz and stamped into his offspring, generation after generation. From Argentinus' dam sire, Duden II, comes the dynamic movements and impulsion of Duellant.
Apiro's dam, the State Premium Mare Pyrah H, is a strong producer of sport horses, including the show jumpers Perle, Pandora and Power Girl. Pyrah H is by the exceptional Westphalen jumper sire, Pilot, who was the first show jumping stallion with progeny to earn one million Deutschmarks. His second dam, Ceda H, is by the Cyklon son, Cyrus who established a good jumper line and was a superior sport horse sire himsself.
Apiro was Reserve Champion of his 30-day test in 2004 with 8.51 overall, 8.86 for jumping and 7.99 for dressage. He completed his sport requirements in Germany by qualifying for the 2005 Bundeschampionat in showjumping. Apiro competed successfully in the working hunter ring as well as with his amateur owner. He is producing quiet-minded, athletic offspring, stamped with his type.
